I saw this odd-looking truck last night on my way home and soon realized it was part of FedEx's "Custom Critical" fleet, which specializes in rapid delivery of !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! So curious about its contents!

I often see these at trade show loading docks. They need things brought from place to place on a specific schedule and can't be wondering when the truck is going to arrive, etc. Usually nothing that exciting inside, but it's important to somebody.

Was a few years back, I dunno what they are at now. Yes, more expensive, but very reliable.

I had the worst experience that didn't result in lost vehicle with those trucking companies. Its like bidding for government contracts: everyone is falling over each other for your business, its lowest bidder stuff and then its overruns and delays.

Call me crazy but it's a Nuclear Warhead/ ICBM components.
Ever wonder how they move that kind of stuff around the country? They hide them in plain sight.

They actually gave out the driver's cell phone number at the time, so there was constant communication.

I use them to ship cars, it's neat. You don't see those trucks very often.

Yeah, I've see a lot of unique things on the street in Manhattan but never one of these. What's up with the super-extended cab?

The DOE has a subdepartment called "Office of Secure Transportation"that has special unmarked semi's that transport them. Out here in NM we see them all the time due to Kirtland AFB, Whitesands missile range, Sandia and Las Alamos national labs all being in state.

I have had things delivered several times via them before when I had IT warranty equipment under 4hr replacement. They basically live in these trucks.

That explains the massive cab.
